Choose from a wide variety of food and drinks for your daily diet. Regular meals at regular intervals are important; take you meals on time every time. Include protein enrich food in your diet such as fish, poultry, eggs, cheese, milk and pulses. Include fresh fruit frequently. Have fresh fruits juice once or twice in a day.

Eat fruits and vegetables for at least four-five times every day. Many types of vegetables are rich in vitamins and other antioxidants that help to maintain consistent health. Green vegetables, beans and some fruits also contain folic acid that lowers the risk of heart attack up to a great extent.

If you are habitual of drinking, then try to drink occasionally than regularly. A small amount of alcohol each day will lower your blood pressure and boost your good cholesterol, which in turn will allow you to stay healthy.
